Bryce Handberg is currently a junior in High School and plays on the Hudson Raiders varsity boy’s hockey team. He is enjoying a breakout season for the Raiders, as he has played in all 24 of his team’s games this season. Bryce is tied for 5th on his team with 9 goals, including 1 on the power-play. When he is given opportunities to shoot the puck, he often shows off his impressive release. He is one of those guys that everyone would want to have on their team, because he comes every day ready to work. Bryce is always one of the first guys on the forecheck/backcheck and willing to sacrifice himself for the team. It is even more impressive that he is able to accomplish all this without being penalized very often, he has only 2 penalty minutes all year. The MAP/FHIT hockey staff loves working with Bryce, because he always has a positive attitude and brings an infectious work ethic that the others can look up to. We are all looking forward to a continued growth in Bryce’s game and working with him again this off season to see what he can do in his senior season.
