Chris Howe grew up in St. Minnesota and played High School Hockey at Apollo where he was a four year letter winner. He continued his hockey playing career at St. John’s University. While playing at SJU he led the Johnnies to win back to back MIAC Championships, and placed third in the Frozen Four his sophomore year. After concluding his playing career at SJU, he started coaching college hockey at his alma mater and assisted John Harrington for 5 years. While coaching at SJU, Howe won three consecutive MIAC Championships and recruited 6 All-Americans and 1 National Player of the year winner. In 2008, he took over the hockey program at Concordia College. He spent 14 years as the head hockey coach at Concordia. During this time they made the MIAC Playoffs 9 times and had three All- Americans and 1 MIAC Player of the year winner. He is the proud father of two children, Isaac (21) Maggie (17). He is excited to serve MAP hockey and do my part in developing outstanding players and people.
